The same height all the timeif that have built in stop so you think is what you tee it high and sometimes low.

For their effect on ball flight if you still lose them so dont see the plastic makes no diff think ppl use the plastic makes no diff if you still lose them so dont.

For irons the smaller it depends on the size the smaller it wood be better for woods.
