Let me clarify myself further. I mean being teed off, traveling the entire distance of the hole, and hitting the VERY TOP of the pin, as in the TOP END of the pin, or the top abutment, however you want to say it. I DO NOT mean just generally the top part of the pin. I MMEAN THE VERY TOP of the pin.

    Ya that’s pretty rare but pretty cool when it happens. My dad was teeing off on a par 3 one time and he hit the very top of the flag stick and it shot down right into the hole. Probably one of the coolest holes-in-one is history. So I think you and my dad had a very similar but rare situation of hitting the very top of the pin.
